Mikey Keene threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Alec Holler with 20 seconds remaining to lead No. 25 UCF to a 46-39 win over South Florida on Saturday night and earn a spot in the American Athletic Conference championship game. Keene completed a 41-yard pass to Javon Baker for a first down at the South Florida 29. Keene added a 10-yard run on a keeper to get the ball to the Bulls' 15 and set up the game-winning play for UCF (9-3, 6-2 AAC). South Florida (1-11, 0-8) got the ball to the UCF 32, but the Bulls' Hail Mary attempt went out of the end zone. UCF scored on its first four possessions of the game to take a 28-0 lead midway through the second quarter. But South Florida stormed back, scoring 22 points in a 3:44 span of the third quarter to pull within 31-29, forcing two turnovers to set up touchdowns.

South Florida even took a 39-38 lead with 7:02 remaining in the game when Bulls quarterback Bynum Brown reeled off a 42-yard TD run off an option keeper. The Knights answered with a 13-play, 75-yard drive that ended with Keene throwing a 4-yard touchdown to Kobe Hudson to make it 38-29. Keene was 15 of 19 for 129 yards and two touchdowns. UCF starting quarterback John Rhys Plumlee had eight carries for 133 yards and a touchdown before he left the game with a pulled hamstring. He was also 9-for-9 passing for 73 yards and a touchdown. Brown threw for 140 yards and rushed for 109 and a touchdown. Brian Battie rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulls. - UCF/AP College Football

Jacob Dingel and Bryon Threats intercepted passes, Noah Potter and Dontay Corleone recovered fumbles and No. 22 Cincinnati beat Temple 23-3 on Saturday to move closer to the American Athletic Conference championship game. Cincinnati (9-2, 6-1) can guarantee a berth in its fourth straight conference title game and earn home-field advantage in the Dec. 3 contest with a win in its regular-season finale Friday against Tulane, with whom it is presently tied atop the standings.

The Bearcats could also gain entry into the title game depending on how Central Florida - which was upset by Navy on Saturday - fares against South Florida. This is the final year in the AAC for Cincinnati, with the Bearcats moving to the Big 12. A week after quarterback E.J. Warner - the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner - set a school record for passing yards with 486 yards and had three TD passes for Temple (3-8, 1-6) in a 43-36 loss at Houston, Cincinnati got the four turnovers and held the rushing attack to 35 yards. - Cincinnati/AP College Football

John Rhys Plumlee accounted for 308 yards and three touchdowns, and No. 22 UCF took over first place in the American Athletic Conference with a 38-31 victory over No. 16 Tulane on Saturday. Returning from an Oct. 29 concussion against Cincinnati, Plumlee rushed for 176 yards and two TDs. He also passed for 132 yards and a score as UCF (8-2, 5-1) surpassed 400 yards of offense for the eighth time this season. Plumlee's rushing total was his highest with UCF but short of his career high of 212 for Mississippi against LSU in 2019. Tulane (8-2, 5-1) pulled within a touchdown with 11:39 left when Michael Pratt hit Reggie Brown in the back of the end zone to cap a drive sustained by Pratt's fourth-and-6 conversion on a pass to Lawrence Keys. But the Knights responded with a 16-play, 75-yard scoring drive that consumed 8:07 and was sustained by a fourth-down pass interference penalty on Tulane's Jarius Monroe on running back Isaiah Bowser's pass intended for Plumlee along the sideline.

Bowser finished it off with his second short touchdown run of the game to make it 38-24 with 3:32 left. Tulane drove for one final score on Pratt's 6-yard pass to Shae Wyatt with 1:46 left, but the Green Wave's onside kick was recovered by UCF, which didn't punt the ball back until the final seconds. Pratt finished 23 of 39 for 236 yards and three TDs. Tulane's Jha-Quan Jackson caught five passes for 95 yards. Plumlee helped UCF to a 10-0 lead when he kept the ball up the middle, cut outside to his right and outraced all pursuers for a 67-yard touchdown. Tulane answered with Pratt's 1-yard fade to Duece Watts, set up by Tyjae Spears' 70-yard run. UCF restored its 10-point lead when Bowser took a direct snap on fourth-and-1, faked left and darted right for an easy score, his 12th this season. - UCF/AP College Football

RJ Harvey had a 17-yard touchdown run with 48 seconds remaining, sending UCF to a 25-21 win over No. 20 Cincinnati on Saturday. Harvey's go-ahead TD capped a seven-play, 75-yard march directed by Mikey Keene. The backup quarterback was 4 for 4 for 57 yards on the drive. Cincinnati (6-2, 3-1 American Athletic Conference) took a 21-18 lead with 3:04 remaining. Ryan Montgomery scored on a 39-yard touchdown run, and the Bearcats added the 2-point conversion on a Ben Bryant pass to Tyler Scott. UCF (6-2, 3-1) took a 10-6 lead into halftime on the strength of a 26-yard touchdown run by Harvey. The Knights added a safety in the third quarter when Josh Celiscar sacked Bryant in the end zone.

Cincinnati had won six in a row since a season-opening loss to Arkansas. Bryant passed for 298 yards and a touchdown, and Montgomery had a team-high 40 yards rushing on three carries. Harvey had 18 carries for 84 yards for UCF. The Knights finished with 258 yards on the ground and 247 through the air. Following a fumble recovery, Bryant threw a 14-yard touchdown to Josh Whyte to make it 13-12 at the end of the third quarter. Whyte's TD capped a 10-play, 84-yard drive.   KJ Jefferson ran for two touchdowns and passed for a third and Raheim Sanders rushed for 171 yards to lead Arkansas to a 41-27 victory over Auburn on Saturday in a battle to escape the bottom of the Southeastern Conference Western Division. The Razorbacks (5-3, 2-3 SEC) snapped a six-game losing streak versus the Tigers (3-5, 1-4), who have dropped four games in a row. The two teams came into the day tied with Texas A&M for last in the SEC West. But Auburn couldn't stop Jefferson and Sanders or produce scores on offense when the game was still in doubt. Much of Jordan-Hare Stadium had emptied before the Tigers' final two touchdowns that served to make the final score more respectable.

Sanders set up the decisive touchdown with a 76-yard scamper down the left sideline late in the third quarter. Rashod Dubinion then scored the first of his two late touchdowns. Jefferson completed 16 of 24 passes for 234 yards and stiff-armed safety Zion Puckett to the ground on his way to a 13-yard touchdown run. Matt Landers caught four passes for 115 yards. Auburn's Robby Ashford was 24-of-33 passing for 285 yards and a touchdown, while rushing 19 times for 87 yards. Tailback Tank Bigsby was mostly contained aside from a 41-yard touchdown run. Things snowballed for the Tigers after their opening drive of the third quarter stalled and then ended with Isaiah Nichols' blocked field goal, while down just 17-13. - Arkansas/AP College Football

Central Florida became the sixth team this season to score 70 points with its 70-13 win over Temple. The Golden Knights have a history of putting up big offensive numbers, so let's talk defense. UCF has held nine straight opponents to 20 points or fewer, the longest active streak in the FBS, and allowed just nine points in the fourth quarter this season. Only Illinois, at seven, has allowed fewer points in the final 15 minutes of games. - AP College Football
